Materialistic attachment is a silly feeling we get the moment we’re about to lose something we invested time or money into. But if we stop for a moment and ask ourselves what really matters in the universe, then reality settles in. As long as we are in good health, have some friends and family and are not starving, things are going to be OK. Everything else is just extra.
Next time your car breaks down or your phone stops working, think about this.
Piss off you stupid hippy cunt. I want my technology to work and work well. Materialism is a cornerstone of the human experience.
Sure it is. Just like your mannerism.
Woah! Mason, you stumbled upon this blog which is entirely made of opinions by the author of this blog. If you disagree with the philosophy of ‘materialistic attachment’, then that is your right. The author chose to comment on this to create a point of discussion in a conversation. However, coming down here to the comments section to verbally abuse the author is a very low form of communication.
I agree with this post. I feel like if one lets go of materialistic attachment to the excess objects in life that isn’t needed for survival one starts to appreciate the world around oneself a bit more.
