Coming into January I realized that I haven’t had a chance to code in the open skies for almost a month due to the chilly temperatures. I have been working mostly inside the popup camper. It’s still considered outdoor coding, but it’s not as nice.
I tried challenging the elements and work outside despite the cold; the body is fine if you put a jacket and a few sweaters, but keeping your fingers warm is impossible without glowes. And typing with glows, well… it’s tricky at best!
Some parts of the country (like near Key West in Florida) let you code outside year around, but most other areas in the U.S. get fairly cold during the winter months. We’ll see how cold Arizona gets; maybe I’ll sneak my laptop outside during the afternoon time! I can’t wait for March to arrive.
